Internazionale new boy David Suazo says he was always focused on joining the Nerazzurri, despite AC Milan having made a late bid for the Cagliari frontman.
The 27-year-old Honduras international had seemed poised to join the European champions at one point earlier this summer, before Suazo's desire to join Inter proved decisive.
Suazo told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I have to admit that I never considered the idea of not being an Inter player next year.
"The problem wasn't that I didn't feel like a Milanista, the fact is that after the end of the campaign, I only knew about the possibility of joining one club and that was Inter.
"I didn't choose between the two options, Inter followed me, wanted me and were there when I needed a turning point in my career.
"I had only thing in mind, I wanted Inter."
